aurelius dumbledore

Aurelius is the younger half-brother (sharing a father) of one Albus Dumbledore, a professor in London. He's spent most of his life in London, though he's been to a few places around Europe. Their family is rich, and has doted endlessly on this younger unexpected son. He mostly studies, recently at Oxford. He cares most for animals, and always has a kind word for children. He'd like to be left alone to study and not worry about the future, but there is some pressure to marry. He's travelling to New York now at the behest of his father.

Aurelius is generally even tempered, kind, and a little shy. He doesn't tend to meet people's eyes, though he doesn't have Credence's normal fear of people. He fears rejection, perhaps, and he's not always sure how to talk to people. He doesn't have very many friends. When he makes a friend, he is fiercely loyal to them, even if they make decisions he doesn't understand or agree with.

(something about incorporating the obscurus or something like it; some dark secret??? thinking about it.)





(note: Credence has about 90% amnesia, so every now and then during the event he may remember his actual life, depending on how it's triggered.)

albus dumbledore Older brother, who Aurelius has known his whole life. They are not incredibly close, but he does have a lot of respect for his brother. He was inspired by Albus to become a scholar himself, though he tends to flit between subjects and isn't yet able to settle on one thing.
