There's way too many words about this in the application, but basically Credence has a history of physical/emotional abuse that will probably come up. If this upsets you at all PLEASE let me know and I'll gloss over it or leave it out, whatever you need! He is incredibly unlikely to talk about it with another character, but it plays into his thoughts and things.

There may be some religious trauma mentioned at some point, too; his adoptive mother was a zealous Christian type so it may come up. Again, lmk if it needs to not come up and I’ll make that so!

He's also an unstable magical person with a lot of weird anger/fear issues. At deerington, things that upset him emotionally on a small level may cause small things to happen that hint at the Obscurus (big destructive angry storm cloud dark parasitical magical force) inside him, such as his eyes going white, skin cracking, or whatever. If body horror stuff really freaks you out, let me know, and I will either NOT let this happen around your character or gloss over it. Again, whatever you need to be comfortable.
